About the piece: I specifically chose ‘colours of passion’ on a base of the palest of pinks. I painted this piece vertically from start to finish. The  piece contains vibrant neon pinks, neon reds, red, purples,  magenta, violet, white and and splashes of aqua green with a few lines of gold aswell as hints of metallic turquoise. I felt it needed something more so I introduced ‘fireworks’ of violet near the base.  I stepped back and there she was, a flamenco dancer mid-whirl holding her ‘abanico’ and kicking her ruffles as she dances.
